Job Description
Heat Treating company is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Tulsa Heat Treat division. The purpose of this position is to: 1.) Provide equipment and facility maintenance support. 2.) Support industrial furnaces and related equipment. 3.) Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise.
This position requires solid mechanical troubleshooting skills. As the Maintenance Supervisor you will conduct maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and vehicles. Work to minimize unplanned downtime, improve production quality, increase equipment efficiency, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience working on the production floor and in harsh environments. .For all roles we are currently hiring for, we need individuals who can work in a hybrid capacity—comfortable spending time on the floor around the furnaces, as well as handling some office-related duties.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Knowledge of mechanical systems such as hydraulics, electrical systems, & metal fabrication.
· Knowledge of electrical skills.
· Implement the facilities preventative maintenance program.
· Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, washer soap and similar items; notify supervisor of issues as needed.
· Perform corrective actions required for out-of-specification conditions as directed by supervisor.
· Perform analytical troubleshooting of issues to maintain equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
· Accurately record and document all completed maintenance, modifications, and repairs
· Maintain shop copies of manuals and blueprints in a neat and organized manner; provide others with updated information as required.
· Make suggestions for changes which would help the plant achieve improved efficiency, quality, and safety.
· Maintain the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
· Assist in Pyrometry testing including System Accuracy Test, Temperature Uniformity Test, Instrument Calibration in accordance with industry and company standards.
Qualified Candidates must possess:

Education – College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred; High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
· Proven Leadership skills
· Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
· Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is preferred.
· Must possess troubleshooting skills with mechanical equipment and be analytical.
· May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends.
· Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme high/low temperatures and a physically demanding environment
