Tulsa's Green Country Staffing is seeking to fill two Installation Technician positions for our client that specializes in engineered air pollution control systems.
Installation Technician:
The Installation Technician role is an opportunity to develop and expand your current skills and experience in a mechanical trade. The role provides an opportunity to learn new skills and help grow the Fire and Industrial business segments of a local company looking to expand and grow. This position is primarily responsible for installation of industrial ventilation equipment and vehicle exhaust systems. This position requires:
- Use of Power Tools
- Installation of Ducting
- Overhead Work
- Lifting, bending, climbing on ladders.
- Scissor lift and Forklift Operation
- Driving for Extended Periods
- Extensive Travel
- Working and Traveling with Other Employees
- Track Time on App
- Complete Expense Reports Weekly
- Attend All Safety Training Classes
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to interpret technical data such as airflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Successful applicants must have:
- A good work ethic.
- Verifiable work history and references,
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history,
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mobile Smart Phone
Pre-employment background investigations will be requested for the successful candidate. The candidate must be comfortable working with little supervision. The Candidate must document job-specific time on a mobile app.
For the industrial division 80% travel is required. For the Fire division travel is local with most nights home but with occasional overnights.
