Locally owned & operated manufacturer of electric utility products is looking to interview & hire Electric Assembly Technicians I & II.
Job Duties:
- Use turret lathes, drill presses, table saws, chop saws, band saws, and assorted hand tools to perform various operations as needed
- Perform manual (hand) assembly of various products
- Perform continual quality control of all products under his/her control
- Embrace the quality objectives, policies, and procedures, detailed in our Quality Manual
- Perform soldering of wires, resistors, capacitors, circuit board components, etc.
- Read resistor codes to correctly identify values
- Modify circuit boards as needed
- Basic troubleshooting & correction of problem circuits
- Operate test equipment for various products
- Embrace the quality objectives, policies, and procedures, detailed in our Quality Manual
- Inspect, test, calibrate (when possible) and troubleshoot goods in process and finished products
- Troubleshoot and repair products received in from end users for repair
- Determine the best course of action- reparability vs. replacement of product
- Ensure (by inspection, test, and/or calibration) that all products that leave our facility are in proper and safe working condition.
- Manage work flow through the use of product routers (new product only)
- Read product prints
- Perform continual quality control of all products under his/her control
- Follow safety policies and procedures
Monday to Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm
