Busy Steel Fabrication is needing candidates for Field Service Iron Worker / Fitter Welders $20-$30 per hour plus daily per diem.
Regular hours are Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm but are subject to change to 7am-3:30pm. Will travel to job site on Mondays and return home on Fridays. There is no in-shop time for these positions.
Background check, pre-employment drug screen (Safety Sensitive), Valid Driver's License and MVR required.
Per diem policy:
Effective April 6, 2025, employees will receive a per diem of $100 per day on eligible job sites.
Once hired you can consult your supervisor on job sites that provide per diem.
Employees working job sites that have been deemed eligible for per diem will
receive $100 per day. This includes Friday return home trips.
One note -Per diem replaces the inclusion of drive time on timecards.
Job description for the Ironworker / Fitter Welder position:
We are looking for experienced Iron Worker/Fitter Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding/fitting and will be able to read and interpret blueprints. The successful candidate will be able to use a variety of welding techniques to join, fabricate, and repair metal components. They must also be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings.
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together.
- Pass 3G and 4G stick welding test 7018.
- Able to work at elevated heights above 15 feet.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 - 70 pounds frequently.
- Work outdoors and travel.
- Rigging Certs & OSHA 10 preferred but not required.
Pay Rate is BOE: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour plus daily per diem.
