Quality Systems Specialist
Busy Chemical company looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, ability to fill out and help with quality documentation, process improvement and oversight. Lab, chemical, manufacturing, and light facility maintenance are a plus. A degree is preferred and with Chemical manufacturing experience a higher wage can be negotiated.
Tasks
- Quality Systems – internal audits, lab/pest log, batch records, validations, risk assessments, KPIs, BCP, quality goals and continuous improvement, customer feedback, supplier evaluations, management review, process review, procedure review, equipment review, product quality review, mock recalls, overview of stability study and performance evaluations
- Compliance - maintenance of HAZMAT, DOT and FRA book, SWOT, REACH reporting, FDA reporting, health insurance reporting, water sampling, equipment calibrations, kosher and ISO certification maintenance, USP monograph and other governing document reviews,
- Complaints - handling of customer complaints and non-conformances
- Environmental Program – storm water walkthroughs, annual environmental audit, storm water sampling, environmental training, DEQ storm water report
- Training Program – lead safety and SOP training
- Back Up for Logistics Manager – shipping paperwork
- General Admin – answering phones, greeting visitors, etc.
