Job: Saw Operator
Location: Tulsa, OK.
Pay: $15–$20/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Mon–Fri | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Job Summary:
An oil and gas construction company in Tulsa is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join their fabrication team. This hands-on position is ideal for a skilled candidate who understands precision cutting, shop tools, and piping materials.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a metal fabrication or welding environment, with a strong understanding of pipe materials, diameters, and thicknesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate shop bandsaw, drill press, and other standard metalworking equipment.
- Accurately measure and cut piping to required lengths using prints or blueprints.
- Identify pipe diameters, material grades, and heat numbers for proper tracking and logging.
- Lay out and prepare Olet connections (forged fittings used to connect pipes and tubing).
- Operate various hand and power tools, including:
- Pneumatic and Oxy/Acetylene Pipe Bevelers
- Oxy/Acetylene Torch
- Plasma Torch
- Die Grinder
- 4.5” Angle Grinder
- Drill Press
- Follow blueprints and fabrication instructions accurately.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating bandsaw and fabrication tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with pipe materials, diameters, and grading systems.
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
