CDL Class A Driver – $25+ (Hourly) (CDL A License, 1+ years’ experience)
Drive semi with trailer some with items weighing up to 50 tons and 20’ wide. Over-width and overweight. Supply trailers to the areas that require them as needed, i.e.: structure, header bay for transporting heads to stress, heat treat, assembly for load out of completed units. Ability to load and unload materials that are to be transported to and from vendors. Help unload and sort, mark, and organize galvanized loads after they are checked if help is needed. Transport loads to and from vendors inside the port and around the Tulsa metro area as needed. Any other transportation needs for all the plants as directed by supervision or lead persons at Kelvion. Help with any material handling that may be needed anywhere in the shop as time allows. Keep Supervisor informed of legitimate problems, concerns within the above-mentioned areas of responsibilities and continually look for better ways to do what we do. Must meet all requirements of the Fleet Policy. Computer skills is preferred to cross-train in all areas of the shipping and warehouse departments. Perform daily inspections on the company trucks and report any need for repairs to the Supervisor and maintenance. Document and maintain equipment and yard inventory of coolers and bundles. Must have a valid Oklahoma drivers license and Class A CDL, must be a qualified competent driver, meet requirements of the Department of Transportation, Company Fleet Policies, Drivers Random Program (HireRight), and shall maintain an acceptable driving record. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
