Job Title: Integration Technician
Department: Service Department
Reports To: Integration Manager
Overview
The Integration Technician supports the Service Department’s integration projects involving air-cooled heat exchanger systems for industrial and data center applications. This position performs hands-on electrical and mechanical work, including the installation of VFD cabinets, conduit, wiring, sensors, and related components. Integration Technicians ensure each project is completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with quality standards and customer expectations under the direction of the Integration Manager.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical installations for integration projects, including conduit runs, wiring terminations, cabinet placement, and equipment mounting.
Assist in the setup and assembly of VFD panels, junction boxes, and control wiring according to provided drawings and schematics.
Maintain safe and organized work areas, ensuring adherence to company HSE policies and OSHA requirements.
Collaborate with fellow technicians and contractors to complete project tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Verify connections, wiring accuracy, through basic visual testing and inspection.
Communicate progress, material needs, and issues promptly to the Integration Manager or Lead Technician.
Participate in job-site safety meetings and follow established lockout/tagout and PPE procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process or tooling enhancements.
Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial installation work.
• Familiarity with conduit bending, motor wiring, and basic control system layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and installation drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Capable of working outdoors or in industrial environments, often requiring travel to customer job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
Work Environment
• Field-based role with regular travel to customer or project sites.
• Requires coordination with the Integration Manager and other trades.
• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, often around heavy equipment and electrical systems.
