Manufacturing IT Infrastructure

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: ? Confer with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. ? Identify areas of operational improvements and implement necessary modifications. ? Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of internal line-of-business applications. ? Interface with existing systems as necessary. ? Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications. ? Test and evaluate new programs. ? Research, design, implement, and mange software programs. ? Create, design, deploy, and update applications. ? Must be able to identify and debug software errors and issues. ? Write and update technical documentation. ? Train users and gather feedback. ? Ensure all the IT systems that support the business function efficiently. ? Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT incidents. ? Support and maintenance of IT infrastructure as required. ? Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime. ? Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management. ? Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
