Position Overview: The HR Specialist will be responsible for a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, new hire orientations, system access management, front office assistance, file maintenance, and audit and compliance tasks. This role requires extreme organization and attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Experience in Human Resources, working in a medical office environment, particularly in a Retirement Community, also a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Support: - Greet and assist visitors and employees at the HR office. - Answer the main HR phone line and handle general inquiries.
Recruitment: - Post job openings and manage applicant tracking. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Onboarding: - Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and orientation sessions. Ensure new employees are set up in our systems and have all necessary resources.
HR Administration: - Maintain employee records, regularly audit all files to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Training and Development: - Coordinate training sessions and track and report on training completion and effectiveness.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role. Proficient in HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems, particularly Paylocity and UKG.
Extreme organization and attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
