Large manufacturing plant seeking forklift operators for their rotating shift from 6am-6pm & 6 pm-6am. The rotating shift works on a 2on-2off-3on-2off-2on-3off basis. Once a full 2-2-3-2-2-3 is completed the shift rotates from day shift (6am-6pm) to night shift (6pm-6am).
Will be operating a forklift in different areas as needed to move stock/material to help continuously feed machines that run 24/7 all year. Must be able to use systems to input material being moved as it's moved for updates to inventory levels. Must have 2+ years of experience operating a forklift. Must be able to pass the forklift certification course to work on a forklift in this facility. Will be given a chance after orientation.
Pay begins at $19/hr The qualifying period for benefits begins at the time you start with the client company full-time.
Once hired, employee will go through orientation and be placed on a team. Teams work rotating schedules; 12 hour shifts. Guaranteed OT every other week. Must be able to work overtime, night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule: 12 hour shifts; 2-2-3-2-2-3; 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am - rotating every 2 weeks
Required PPE: Masks & Steel toed boots MUST be worn at ALL times while on property
Requirements: background check, pre-employment drug screen, High school diploma/GED, reliable transportation - Strong time on the job & experience operating forklift will lead to success
