Local city traffic department is looking to hire a traffic signal technician.
Minimum Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by one to three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class B CDL Driver's License with air brakes endorsement, issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. Ability to obtain a valid Traffic Signal Technician Level I certificate from the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) within 12 months of employment; current possession of a valid Traffic Signal Technician Level I certificate is preferred. Possession of a valid Traffic Signal Technician Level II certificate is desired.
Electrical experience is a plus.
