QC Technician (Power Solutions Test) $20-30 based on experience
Hours are Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

Overview
Inspect and electrically test Power Solutions line of portable power-distribution equipment (PST, PSC, and PSX units) in a manufacturing environment, completing the Final Inspection Test Report and supporting inspection checklists for each unit.
Responsibilities
- Inspect power distribution units (PST, PSC, PSX) for enclosure fit, finish, and correct component installation
- Verify components and construction against the BOM, Sales Order, and mechanical drawings
- Continuity, grounding, and electrical systems checking; troubleshooting of wiring issues
- HIPOT/dielectric and function testing of breakers, GFCI protection, and transformers
- Verify and apply required QC labels, including shipping and UL/ETL/NRTL labeling
- Attention to detail and self-motivated
- Must be able to accurately complete the Final Inspection Test Report and other paperwork
- Contribute to the company's continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Must be detail oriented
- Must practice good/safe housekeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must comply with PPE requirements
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and bills of material is required
- Understanding of AC circuits and grounding/bonding fundamentals is required
- Previous portable power distribution, panel, or electrical assembly test experience is preferred
- Previous experience with single- and three-phase 120/208/240/480V equipment is highly preferred
- Experience with HIPOT/dielectric test sets is highly preferred
- Familiarity with UL 1640 requirements is a plus
- Employee must be proficient in both spoken and written English
Ability to distinguish colors
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time; work may also be required in a seated position
