Job Title: Payroll Manager
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager for a temp-to-hire position. This role will not only oversee all aspects of payroll but will also manage invoice billing and support employee health insurance enrollment and monitoring. Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
· Accept and review employment applications and enter into payroll software.
· Assisting Management in the review and validation of all payroll transactions.
· Process weekly payroll accurately and on time using Sage 50 software.
· Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
· Handle employee time tracking, deductions, garnishments, and accruals as necessary.
· Prepare payroll-related reports from Sage 50 for management and accounting.
· Enter and track employee time transactions within our timeclock software.
· Work with timeclock company to resolve any internal discrepancies and updates.
Billing & Invoicing:

Work with off-site supervisors to collect data for invoice processing.
· Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner.
· Track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
· Reconcile billing records and resolve discrepancies.
Health Insurance Enrollment & Monitoring:

Assist employees with enrollment in company-sponsored health insurance plans.
· Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and insurance status.
· Communicate with insurance providers regarding enrollments, terminations, and changes as well as participate in the annual enrollment.
· Ensure compliance with applicable health insurance and labor laws.
General Administrative Support:
· Collaborate with HR and accounting teams as needed.
· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial and employee data.
· Assisting with audits and documentation requests is a must.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required
· Proficiency in Sage 50 software is required
· Experience with invoice billing and health insurance administration preferred
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
Compensation & Benefits:
· Hourly pay: $20.00 – $24.00, depending on experience
· Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
