Busy metal stamping company is needing candidates for a Shop Floor Hand
This is a production support role focused on material handling in a metal stamping shop. They will be training to run our vibratory deburr machines, loading heavy metal/aluminum coils by forklift on to decoilers, as well as doing general shop labor. The floor help also supports the press operators and assists with setup, lubrication, and general housekeeping to maximize safety and production efficiency.
They would need to have good forklift experience, be able to lift, pull and/or push upwards to 50 lbs, and be able to regularly climb, bend, stoop and stand for long periods. They will be in a fast-paced manufacturing environment exposed to high noise levels.
Starting pay is $15/hour; after 30 days if they work out for us, $1 raise.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 5:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. (Off on Fridays except when overtime is mandatory). It is imperative that they be on time.
