Industrial Ventilation Systems company is needing candidates for Service / Installation Technicians to perform all service work on our vehicle exhaust systems. This includes installations, maintenance repairs, and preventative maintenance. The Field Service Technician will operate and maintain a company vehicle.
A typical schedule for a Field Service Technician is Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM. This may slightly vary depending on service market.
Pay rate: $20.00--$23.00 (or more depending on experience)
This position does have daily travel within Oklahoma and some into Arkansas but generally are out-and-back the same day with the occasional overnight if the initial drive is such a distance that driving back the next day would prove a waste of work time. Travel is approximately 25%
Essential Functions
- Responsible for troubleshooting product for required repairs.
- Routinely change batteries, sensors, hoses, etc.
- Visually inspect for damage and malfunctions.
- Perform service agreement tasks and other job-related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures.
- Technician will have strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Technician will have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites.
- Electronically transferring customer and company information.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Experience in repair and maintenance.
- Technical school degree preferred.
- General Computer Skills required.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Must have good verbal and written skills
- A clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70+ pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years old
